The Manager of Metabolic Services is responsible for the daily operations, fiscal management, strategic planning, business plan development, and the achievement and maintenance of Bariatric Center of Excellence status, compliance with Medicare requirements of the program. This position is responsible for day to day operations of the McConnell Heart Health Center Cardiovascular Services (including the Human Performance Lab, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Pulmonary Rehabilitation), and CORE Services (clinical research projects, outcomes management for the center, data entry, and Electronic Medical Records). This position is responsible for growth and development of Cardiovascular Services and CORE services, ongoing process improvement of clinical activities including patient flow, employee training and skills development, billing compliance, outcomes data integrity, and regulatory and compliance. This position is also responsible for the coordination and oversight of center-wide clinical research, assuring integrity of data and clinical outcomes. This position serves as a liaison with RMH for seamless care across the continuum for safety and clinical services. The position also represents the above mentioned departments at organization-wide department-related meetings, and directs financial management of all of the cost centers involved. The manager supervises the Human Performance lab team leader and Cardiac Rehabilitation team leader, in the coordination of daily functioning of the above-mentioned departments. This position is also responsible for the management and oversight of 3-5 satellite clinic operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Credentials, Licenses: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed in the State of Ohio. Master of Science in Nursing or related field.

Specialized Knowledge: Ability to develop systems and processes to guide projects; Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written; Excellent organizational and computer skills; management skills such as coaching, teaching, problem-solving, continuous process and quality improvement and ability to develop processes and structure to achieve results; Knowledge of Medicare requirements/regulations and JCAHO Accreditation processes; Knowledge of leadership and management practices, process improvement and total quality assurance; and adult learning principles.

Kind and Length of Experience: 5 years experience in clinical care of patients with cardiovascular disease and/or research and outcomes.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

Prior experience managing a multidisciplinary team
Prior experience in clinical research trials

Specialized Knowledge:
Knowledge of CPT/ICD-9 coding and clinical billing desirable.

The Plastics Nurse Practitioner works closely with the Plastics Surgeons and the Trauma Team to provide care for the complex trauma patients at one of the busiest trauma centers in the state of Ohio. Our Plastics team is a dynamic group of health care providers, skilled in the care of the complex plastic surgery patients. The Plastics NP sees patients on the trauma unit and critical care daily. Together with the Plastics surgeons, they are responsible for evaluating patients, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, as well as developing and carrying out patient treatment plans. Clinical leaders in the trauma program, the Plastics Nurse Practitioners are involved in process improvement projects and are an educational resource for patients, families, and staff. The Plastics Nurse Practitioner is an Advanced Practice Nurse delivering individualized comprehensive nursing care to patients and their families with attention to physical assessments, preventative health care, education and medical management of acute and chronic illnesses. The Plastics NP practices case management for patients on the trauma services line in collaboration with a Physician, according to guidelines set forth in the Standard Care Arrangement.

This position has primary responsibility for the direction and management of the day to day operations of the Hospitals' construction and renovation projects.
