Accountable to lead and support the patient care staff and manage overall unit operations. Responsible for the continuous improvement of services provided, team development initiatives, professional practice through measurable outcomes. The focus will be on customer service, clinical quality, quality of work life for the staff and financial performance. Impalements strategies that foster a progressive and safe environment for patients and staff. Supports all staff on a unit, so they can effectively take care of patients.

Required:
1. Work requires the knowledge normally acquired through completion and graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and three to five years of previous experience plus six to twelve months of time on the job.
2. Work requires a current Ohio license as a Registered Nurse.
3. Must maintain current CPR certification.
4. Work requires the analytical skills necessary in order to solve technical, clinical, administrative, or managerial problems that require a professional level of knowledge in a specific discipline and/or design relatively complex plans, systems, and programs.
5. Work requires the communication skills necessary to interpret Hospital policies in situations requiring persuasion prepare and present presentations to Hospital senior management, manage the performance of employees within a large or diverse department, or other duties requiring a comparable level of communication skills.
