He/she monitors and maintains the hospitals compliance with TJC, HFAP (as required), OSHA, EPA and other local, state and national regulations as indicated pertaining to safety, fire safety and environmental protection. This position acts as a project manager in response to departmental and customer requests by planning, designing, and implementing voice or related telecommunications systems, services, and networks.  As the customer liaison to technological information this position researches and recommends various voice communications solutions, manages system databases, and vendor services.   This position may assist and/or train less-experienced analysts in obtaining solutions to move/add/change services, functions, cable, and technical issues.  Monitors and responds to facility hardware and software maintenance problems and/or MACs.
