The Case Manager extender works collaboratively with all interdisciplinary staff internal to OhioHealth and also external organizations to achieve timely, cost efficient and effective management of patient care. Will coordinate, document and assure compliance for Life Safety and the Environment of Care, and deliver compliance reporting documents required by the OhioHealth hospital campus locations and Ambulatory Center.

Will be responsible for the maintenance of a safe and healthful environment as it relates to construction, renovation and repair work conducted in the hospital. Responsible for review of the Life Safety Code as it pertains to healthcare occupancies and the application of these policies to maintenance or construction work which is proposed or is occurring in the facility. Implements and maintains Interim Life Safety Measures and Infection Control Standards as required by JCAHO, and maintains life safety program and associated documents. Coordinates the fire alarm and sprinkler flow inspections, and maintains all required records. Monitors and maintains the hospital’s compliance with JCAHO, OSHA, EPA and state and local regulations pertaining to safety, fire safety and environmental protection.

This position is responsible for managing, monitoring and improving the Environment of Care with a primary goal being the safety of the patient/ visitors/ associates/ physicians. An additional focus is to provide safe facilities for diagnosis and treatment in order to meet the needs of the community. He/she monitors and maintains the hospitals compliance with TJC, HFAP (as required), OSHA, EPA and other local, state and national regulations as indicated pertaining to safety, fire safety and environmental protection. He/she oversees the Life Safety Plan that is designed to assure appropriate, effective response to internal and external emergency situations in compliance with the applicable codes (e.g. Life Safety Codes, NFPA) and regulations to assure effective mitigation, preparation, response and recovery to an event that affects the environment of care.

This position leads the planning, organization and management of the clinical division(s) located at the Central Laboratory. The Central Lab provides services and testing for all 8 of the OhioHealth hospital labs. Large Central Ohio Healthcare system looking for a person with strong leadership skills and technical knowledge of molecular diagnostics. We are seeking someone with experience in a large molecular lab and/or completion of postgraduate training in molecular diagnostics. This individual will be responsible for developing a strategy for growing our current molecular testing menu. The System Program Director of Cancer Services will be responsible for the system-wide integration and direction of cancer services across OhioHealth. This position is specific to a cancer service line (ie, breast cancer, colo-rectal cancer, lung cancer) and will be responsible for directing the integration of outpatient cancer services, with inpatient medical and interventional care, to create a comprehensive continuum of care that results in a longitudinal care model for a specific site. Working with key points of contact at each OhioHealth care site, the incumbent is responsible for establishing and overseeing a comprehensive program and corresponding satellite programs that encompass prevention, including screening; treatment, including clinical protocols; and education, including outreach programs.

Demonstrated management expertise in a high-volume, multidisciplinary clinical area, as well as financial acumen

The Registered Nurse provides nursing care to patients and families along the health-illness continuum while collaborating with he health care team. The RN is accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the state statutes.
