This position assists in development, implementation, refinement and reporting of the RAC case management and appeals program. This position is responsible for providing services to patients, families, and significant others including completion of biopsychosocial assessments, psychiatric diagnoses, formulation of treatment plans and treatment interventions, therapy sessions (individual, couples, family or group), implementation of treatment plans and discharge planning. The Clinician can practice independently and without supervision, as permitted by the State of Ohio licensure.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Masters Degree in Social Work, Nursing, Counseling or related field; Licensure to practice independently in the State of Ohio or Certificate of Authority, e.g., LISW, CNS, LPCC.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE
Clinical psychopathology, psychiatric diagnosis and treatment. Demonstrates knowledge of bio-psychosocial development for the age of patients served.

KIND and LENGHTH of EXPERIENCE
Experience working with acutely-ill psychiatric patients.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

This is a contingent position to work hours from 8am to 3am in the Emergency Department at Doctors Hospital.
