He/She serves as the organization liaison with JCAHO and other regulatory agencies/accrediting bodies for the Central Ohio Hospitals.  This position acts as the organizational consultant for issues related to the accreditation process, interpretation of JCAHO standards, mechanisms for successful implementation of new and/or revised standards, and directs process improvement activities to assure compliance with JCAHO and other regulatory agency/accrediting body standards.  The Director Org Accreditation HomeReach directs the implementation of processes designed to support accreditation including policies and procedures and other structural components.</p>  <b>Minimum Qualifications</b><br/>  <p>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE<br/>Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing or other clinical health related field; Current license in professional area of practice.<br/><br/>SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE<br/>In-depth understanding of project management and process improvement, comprehensive understanding of clinical processes.  Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.  Expertise in performance improvement and quality control.  Demonstrates substantial knowledge of JCAHO, CMS, and other regulating agency/accrediting body requirements.  Knowledge and experience working with accreditation standards, health care regulations and/or policy formulation is required.  Comprehensive understanding of the home care industry.
