The psychologist is responsible for providing direct services, including counseling, psychotherapy, assessment, crisis intervention, and grief work. The Psychologist also provides consultation regarding psychological and behavioral health needs of the patients and their families. To provide counseling, psychotherapy, assessment, consultation, and psycho-education throughout the continuum of care, including inpatient care, outpatient care, affiliated community settings, homecare, and bereavement..

EDUCATION
PhD in Psychology, or Counseling, licensed to practice psychology in the State of Ohio.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE
Strong knowledge of clinical counseling issues, psychological assessment skills. Understanding of psychiatric needs and psychotropic intervention.

EXPERIENCE: Two years clinical experience with patients. Prior consultant experience preferred.

Assure high quality care, continuous process improvement, optimal productivity, efficient utilization of resources and customer satisfaction in their assigned department(s) which may include the Cardiovascular Clinic, Disease Management Services, Clinical Research, Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation and Cardiopulmonary Maintenance.

Education, Credentials, Licenses
Current RN license in State of Ohio. BSN from an accredited college or eight years directly related experience as a leader in a similar position, or equivalent combination of education and experience. ACLS certification. Two to five years experience in specialty area, plus five years experience as an RN in a hospital.

Specialized Knowledge
- Cardiovascular and pulmonary anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology
- Cardiovascular and pulmonary diagnostic techniques including stress testing
- Metabolic disorder relevant to cardiovascular and pulmonary rehabilitation
- Cardiovascular and pulmonary disease management, risk modification, prevention and treatment guidelines.
- Musculoskeletal conditions limiting or influencing exercise prescription and performance.

Kind & Length of Experience
- Outpatient disease management of cardiovascular or pulmonary disease.
- Three to five years experience in outpatient or cardiovascular invasive lab or outpatient cardiovascular practice including experience in stress testing.

This position is responsible for the day-to-day scheduling and patient flow of the McConnell anticoagulation clinic and Westerville Medical Campus anticoagulation clinic. Responsibilities include managing associate schedules, customer service relationships, and physician referral relationships. Knowledge of coumadin clinic operarations is desired. This position also includes direct contact with the the McConnell Membership Services department to triage potential new fitness members into appropriate enrollment stress testing appointments, as well as conducting high risk stress tests. Stress testing experience strongly desired. Strong organizational skills are necessary and knowledge of Quadramed scheduling system preferred. Hours are Monday- Friday; 8am - 5pm.

To teach swim lessons and water safety classes to people of all ages. Possible clientele may include adults and children with physical and or mental challenges.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
CPR for the Professional Rescuer. Water Safety Instructor Certification within six months of hire. First-Aid Certification.

KIND and LENGTH of EXPERIENCE
One to three years experience in teaching swimming lessons preferred.
