The Psychologist also provides consultation regarding psychological and behavioral health needs of the patients and their families. To provide counseling, psychotherapy, assessment, consultation, and psycho-education throughout the continuum of care, including inpatient care, outpatient care, affiliated community settings, homecare, and bereavement..</p>  <b>Minimum Qualifications</b><br/>  <p>EDUCATION<br/>PhD in Psychology, or Counseling, licensed to practice psychology in the State of Ohio.<br/><br/>SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE<br/>Strong knowledge of clinical counseling issues, psychological assessment skills. BSN from an accredited college or eight years directly related experience as a leader in a similar position, or equivalent combination of education and experience.  ACLS certification.   Two to five years experience in  specialty area, plus five years experience as an RN in a hospital.<br/> <br/>Specialized Knowledge<br/>- Cardiovascular and pulmonary anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology<br/>- Cardiovascular and pulmonary diagnostic techniques including stress testing<br/>- Metabolic disorder relevant to cardiovascular and pulmonary rehabilitation<br/>- Cardiovascular and pulmonary disease management, risk modification, prevention and treatment guidelines.<br/>- Musculoskeletal conditions limiting or influencing exercise prescription and performance.<br/><br/>Kind &amp; Length of Experience<br/>- Outpatient disease management of cardiovascular or pulmonary disease.<br/> - Three to five years experience in outpatient or cardiovascular invasive lab or outpatient cardiovascular practice including experience in stress testing.</p>  <b>Additional Job Information</b><br/>  <p>This position is responsible for the day-to-day scheduling and patient flow of the McConnell anticoagulation clinic and Westerville Medical Campus anticoagulation clinic.  Responsibilities include managing associate schedules, customer service relationships, and physician referral relationships.  Knowledge of coumadin clinic operarations is desired.  This position also includes direct contact with the the McConnell Membership Services department to triage potential new fitness members into appropriate enrollment stress testing appointments, as well as conducting high risk stress tests.  Stress testing experience strongly desired.  Strong organizational skills are necessary and knowledge of Quadramed scheduling system preferred.
