Position Summary
Interprets and enforces established policies and procedures, serves as resource person and intervenes in difficult situations or medical crises. Assumes overall responsibility for adequate staffing during off-shifts. Serves as administrative representative for the hospital during assigned shift.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Work requires the knowledge normally acquired through completion and graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, or other health related field (respiratory therapy, health administration), and three to five years of previous experience plus three to six months of time on the job.
2. Work requires current Ohio license as a Registered Nurse, or licensure in field of practice.
3. Must maintain current CPR certification
4. Must obtain ACLS certification within one year of hire.
5. Work requires the analytical skills necessary in order to solve technical, clinical, administrative, or managerial problems that require a professional level of knowledge in a specific discipline and/or design relatively complex plans, systems, and programs.
6. Work requires the communication skills necessary in order to enforce policies in difficult situations, assign work to other employees, or perform other duties requiring a comparable level of communication skills.
7. Work generally consists of activities, projects, or assignments where there is considerable decision making authority regarding procedures, plans and schedules.
