Position Summary
The Surgical Technologist prepares the room and gathers supplies needed for surgical procedures; delivers instruments to the surgeon and other members of the surgical team intra operatively; may function as second assistant to the surgeon; assists in the proper decontamination of the room, supplies and instruments post operatively.
Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist school.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:
Strong clinical knowledge of OR environment.

Contingent position in the newly renovated Bone & Joint Center. Looking for an experienced tech to help out on busy days. M-F with no weekends or holidays.
