Position Summary
This position prepares patient for testing (including thorough questioning), assists the Radiologist during testing, operates the MRI equipment for a variety of procedures, maintains supply inventory in assigned rooms, and covers call duty, as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited radiography program. Current registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Basic understanding of principles of MRI. 6-12 months on-the-job training. BLS Certification
Additional Job Information
ARRT Registered in both CT and MRI modalities preferred; Recent experience (2 years or greater) in both modalities required; working knowledge of Siemens Syngo software preferred;
This is a position that requires flexible hours to fill in for vacations, etc. as needed. Must be able to work independantly.
Seeking a candidate with strong computer skills and excellent customer service skills at an outpatient facility. There is no call associated with this position.
