Holds a current certification by NCCPA.  Current state license and registration. Supervisory agreement on file with the State Medical Board. Current CPR.<br/><br/>Insurance requirements as noted in Appendix 6 of the Allied Practitioner Manual.<br/>The PA will practice in a specific clinical area (i.e. Emergency Department or Department of Orthopedics) under the supervision of one or more physicians on the Medical Staff at Riverside Methodist Hospital in the same specialty.<br/><br/>SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE<br/>In-depth knowledge and demonstrated expertise in an area of clinical specialization (Orthopaedics).  Demonstrated exceptional problem-solving skills and critical thinking.<br/><br/>KIND AND LENGTH OF EXPERIENCE<br/> Experience as a PA in the acute care setting/Emergency Department is preferred. However a new graduate, with similar ED/Ortho clinical rotations will be considered.  Requires prescriptive authority.
